Once upon Mongolia

This is a trailer from a VR game prototype that I made as my master thesis project.

It's about a fictive Mongolia in the 1950th. Basically, an old Professor telling a Student about how her passion for Mongolia began through reading an old adventure book as a kid. The tale was so vivid, the student drifts up in his own fantasy imagining her actually taking part in the tales as a kid. Although it's pure fiction and many stuff are surely not accurate, I spent a vast amount of time researching Mongolian culture. Sadly, due to the time constraint, the prototype was very buggy and I had to cut out half the content (thus the Professor and the student didn't make it into the trailer, as well as the ceremonial versions of the grandma and the bride). We also had to cut out most of our self-recorded animations due to technical issues ;(

The voice acting in the trailer was done by me. The music was produced by a very talented guy! (social media link will be added) It was very stressful but also fun working on this project. If I could ever get any sponsor, I would love to continue this project.
